Parents Morning Tea

Are you a parent /carer of a primary school child?

2020 has been a year that has come with a range of emotional challenges for families, from bush fires to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Would you like to gain some strategies to help support your child in understanding and managing their worries?

Join our experienced family workers for an engaging FREE informational session where we will discuss the challenges of parenting in 2020 and explore strategies to manage your child’s emotions.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Join our qualified facilitator for some fun activities, and yoga moves with your child.

A 12-week group for Chinese grandparents who are a main caregiver to their grandchild/ren.

Foster stronger connections with community to reduce isolation, understand grandparenting in Australian context and strengthen your emotional attachment with your grandchild/ren, and explore shared interests.

Mandarin Delivered First Aid Workshop for Parents of Children Under 10 years old

The Northern Centre invites you to a parent workshop delivered by Parentmedic Ambassador, Lorna Ng on Monday 3 September.

The session provides information on children’s health, first aid and safety in a warm and friendly environment. Our aim is for you to feel more confident and prepared to handle common childhood health issues, and know what to do in case of an emergency.

All Parentmedic Ambassadors have completed specialised education with The Parentmedic Movement to ensure they are up to date with current recommendations and first aid regulations.
